When a signal is first published in the Copy Trading Community, it is automatically created under the Free Plan. Creating a Paid Subscription Plan directly is not currently supported.
Converting a Free Plan to a Paid Subscription Plan
When converting a Free Plan into a Paid Subscription Plan, there are two available options depending on whether you wish to retain your existing free followers.
Why are there two options?
Existing followers are subscribed to the Free Plan. Once the signal is converted to a Paid Subscription Plan, the original Free Plan will be hidden by default and will no longer be available to new followers.
- Scenario 1: Keep Existing Free Followers
Existing followers can continue following the signal for free, while new followers can only subscribe to the paid plan.
Steps:
- Click … beside the Free Signal and select Convert to Paid Signal.
- Configure the subscription plan by setting: Plan Name, Performance Fee Cycle, Performance Fee Rate, Management Fee Cycle, and Management Fee Amount.
- Select Charge New Followers Only as the conversion method, then click Save.
Existing followers under the Free Plan will continue following at no cost. New followers will only be able to subscribe to the Paid Subscription Plan.
- Scenario 2: Require All Users to Subscribe to the Paid Plan
All users, including existing followers, must subscribe to the paid plan again. Existing followers will be removed automatically and must resubscribe, while new users can subscribe directly to the paid plan.
Steps:
- Click … beside the Free Signal and select Convert to Paid Signal.
- Configure the subscription plan by setting: Plan Name, Performance Fee Cycle, Performance Fee Rate, Management Fee Cycle, and Management Fee Amount.
- Select Charge All Followers as the conversion method, then click Save.
This action will terminate all existing follow relationships. Existing followers must subscribe again using the Paid Subscription Plan, while new users may subscribe directly.
Creating a Paid Subscription Plan
User Center → Copy Trading Community → My Signals → Settings → Subscription Plan → Add
Configure the following settings when creating a subscription plan: Plan Name, Performance Fee Cycle, Performance Fee Rate, Management Fee Cycle, and Management Fee Amount, then click Save.
If you are converting a Free Plan into a Paid Subscription Plan, you will also need to choose a Conversion Method. This option is not displayed when creating a new paid plan.
Return to My Signals → Click the signal name → Subscription Plan to view the details of the Paid Subscription Plan.
Important: If you convert a Paid Subscription Plan back to a Free Plan, go to the same location used to convert a Free Plan into a Paid Plan and select Convert to Free Plan. Confirm the prompt to proceed.
Please note:
- Any outstanding Performance Fees that have not yet been settled will no longer be charged.
- Current paid followers will automatically become free followers.
- Once converted to a Free Plan, the signal cannot be converted back to a Paid Plan for 7 days.
