How to Download Logs on Desktop MT4 / MT5
Step 1: Log in to your trading account on MT4/MT5.
Step 2: Click on the “Journal” tab at the bottom of the platform window.
Step 3: Right-click anywhere in the blank area within the “Journal” tab, then select “Open.” This will open the folder containing daily log files.
Step 4: Copy or download the required log file.
- Locate the log file for the relevant date (.log file format, which can be opened using Notepad).
- Right-click and create another copy of the file.
How to Download Logs on Mobile MT4 / MT5 (Android)
Step 1: Open the MT4/MT5 app and tap “Journal.”
Step 2: Tap the calendar icon in the top-right corner and select the required date.
Step 3: After selecting the date, tap the email icon next to it.
Step 4: Enter a description of your issue in the pop-up page, then tap the email icon in the top-right corner to send it to us.
How to Download Logs on Mobile MT4 / MT5 (iOS)
The operation on iOS devices is similar to Android:
Step 1: Open the MT4 / MT5 app and tap “Journal” at the bottom.
Step 2: Tap the calendar icon in the top-right corner and select the date.
Step 3 (MT4): Tap “Journal,” then tap the 【<>】 icon below or the date at the top to select the relevant date. <>
Step 4 (MT5): Tap “Journal,” select the relevant date, then tap the email icon in the top-right corner to send it.
