MT Download and Login

After creating your trading account, you can download the MetaTrader platform and log in to start trading. This guide will walk you through how to install MT and access your account. 

Before You Begin

1. Trading account number

3. Corresponding trading server

Step 1: Download and Install MT

• After the download is complete, go to your computer’s “Downloads” folder, locate the installation file, and double-click it to begin installation. 
  
   

Step 2: Log In to Your Account

After installation, please choose the appropriate login method based on your platform.

MT5 Desktop Login Steps

1. Launch MT5 and select your broker:

Open the installed MT5 platform, search for and select EBC Financial Group (Cayman) Limited, then click Next.

2. Log in or create an account:

Select “Connect existing trading account”, enter your login details, and choose the server.

1. Select your server:

2. Log in to your account:

After selecting the server, enter your MT4 login ID and password to log in.

Step 3: Understand the MT Interface

• Market Watch:
  Located on the left side of the screen, this panel displays real-time prices for available trading instruments. 
  
   
• Chart Window:
  View price charts for selected instruments. Right-click a product and select [Chart Window]. 
  
   
• Navigator:
  Provides quick access to your account information, indicators, and scripts. 
  
   
• Terminal:
  Located at the bottom of the screen, displaying your trade history, open positions, and account balance. 
  
   

Step 4: Start Trading

• Select a trading product:
  Right-click the product you want to trade and select [New Order]. 
  
   
• Set trading parameters:
  Configure lot size, stop loss, take profit, and order type.
  Click [Market Buy] or [Market Sell] to execute the trade. 
  
   

Step 5: Manage Your Trades

• View positions:
  Click [Trade] in the Terminal window to view your open positions. 
  
   
• Close or modify an order:
  Right-click an open position and select [Modify or delete order] or [Close].
  You can adjust stop loss and take profit or close the position directly.
